At GroundScrew Solutions we pride ourselves in delivering to the south west an impressive range of top end products that offer the domestic, leisure and construction industries instant foundation systems whilst at the same time removing the requirement for excavations, disposal and concrete pour costs. We are also able to offer a rental solution for temporary short duration support systems.

Environmental

 

At GroundScrew Solutions we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. Our foundation system is helping drive down carbon emissions against conventional methods.

Concrete is now the second most consumed substance on Earth after water. On average, each year 3 tonnes of concrete is consumed for every person on the planet, with 10% of all global carbon emissions as a consequence of cement production.

Environmental Impact example:

For a conventional concrete foundation base at 4m x 5m it would take;

  • A minimum of 1000kgs of cement -1250kgs of embedded carbon per 1000kgs of cement

  • Or for 20 GroundScrew s weighing 8.9kg each producing only 320.4kg

 

Health & Safety

 

We are committed to the wellbeing of our staff and clients using stringent health & safety protocols in all areas of our business. We carry out underground services and utility searches, coupled with on-site inspections to guarantee the highest safety standards. All our staff are highly trained and carry or are working towards CITB, DBS and NPTC accreditation.
